About 1 hour ago, as title suggests, push button start for Stock Honda is here at less than US$650 plus delivery for complete kit including light weight battery and billet battery mounting cradle.
All information being sent to me now to understand every aspect of design so that its understood if any engine performance gain is possible before discussion so that it may be submitted as part of our rules if agreed.
I've been hassled for a Stock Honda starter from many people for a long time now, so we have the choice if we want to make this an option into our rules.

Anybody suggesting he is not legal should just get better and realise it's actually achievable if you work on your own game and stop crying like bitchs.
Re: Push button start for Stock Honda
I don't know what all the fuss is, it's easy to stay on pace with Sam if you have a well set up kart but not so easy to win the race.

Finally got the hang of doing the Zavaglia style push start!

You can bet I will be toggling the switch from now on, I'm getting lazy in my old age and no longer need to stress to find a run off space to start up. I'll also be starting it up when I need to, not sitting there idling away like a dumb ass waiting for the "move out" signal. :D
Re: Push button start for Stock Honda
BTW, I'm currently all sold out of Stock Honda starter motors (all fitted to karts). Anyone wanting one please contact ASAP as I'm putting another order in end of January..... Don't miss the boat on my order or even fall victim of Backorder due to a SKUSA rush!

Re: Push button start for Stock Honda
Good work with the starters.
A bit off topic but the last couple of lines from the regs above made me wonder if anyone uses a jet needle vibration absorber?
Can't remember ever seeing one in any Mikuni/Keihin carb used on mx bike or kart. Perhaps us Brits call it something different?
Best Regards
Ian :)
Re: Push button start for Stock Honda
Word has it Hegar are thinking up / designing one for the CR250 market. ;)
As for carby, we only allow the PWM38 completely stock (except jetting/needles) to keep out all the bullshit and leave just simplicity.....and hence I have no idea what this jet needle vibration absorber is because they run flawless as is.
Now Ian, aren't you suppose to write up an invoice and send me some parts, stop stuffing around here and hop to it. People waiting, karts to build......your a link to this chain, hurry up! :)
