Hey guys,
Im Simon from Checkmate custom paint iv been painting helmets for around 6 years now for a well known custom paint shop down in melbourne, im out on my own now going under checkmate custom paint.
Custom painted helmets are the same as anything........you get what you pay for!
Stickers are an alternative to paint but..... you dont get the metalics and colour choices you do with a painted helmet or the detail generated from an airbrush to stand out from the crowd.
If you interested in a custom paint job at very competetive prices with out the lack of quality check out my website or add me on kartbook.
And we will work out a fresh custom paint job to suite you and your budget

Helmet painting is the new Art form, and I can see some of them changing hands for big money in yeasr to come.
However I have noticed the detail is fantastic, but guess what from the banks of a race track they all look the same.
So I would go for the old classic deign, like the 60's 70's styles easy to replocate at home,as a roll over will scrap your $3k helmet in 4 seconds.
Be creative - buy some Vinyl and spend some time doing your own! All for $20! (although I donly did 2 red stripes on mine - still easy to do though!)
Hi, Luke from LA Designs here. Unfortunately good and cheap dont really go together, you only get what you paiy for with helmet painting. I have been custom painting helmets for over 20 years now and have quite a few guys and girls that wear my helmets in Karting. If you are interested check out my website at www.ladesigns.com.au or see my kartbook page for some of the latest helmets that we have painted.
