Hi All My question to all is.. Are we interested in resurrecting the gentleman's agreement on tyres....? If so I guess it could be MG Yellow...? If so, who join a bulk buy..? Could any SA VIC or QLD people pass this on for comment..? Paul
With all due respect Pil, it's a no from me. But happy to be persuaded. It should get to the club meeting for a discussion as it does have merit if everyone is on board. Peace, NP
All good Nath... I am organising a group buy of yellows for the NSW guys to save money and it appears Drew Price Engineering (MG Yellow) may be willing to help out. If we support the tyre, they may be willing to give a set for prizes. Early days but we are running yellow anyway hence why I asked.. Could you organize me the emails of Stock Honda guys and i'll send something to all for comment..? Also some of us may come down to the Island later in the year.... Keep me in the loop I'll give you a ring soon Paul (Pil)
Hi Paul, Please let me encourage you to push ahead with the tyre agreement on a permanent basis as it can only be good for the class. Having run the SL6 and MG Yellow on a Stock Honda, there is no doubt that the MG Yellow is a better performer. On an average I gained 0.2 - 0.3G’s additional grip and that translate into a more exciting ride for the Stock Honda drivers. ;D
The promise of a longer life for the SL6 is not really a positive as the performance drops off after a few races and then you are in management mode rather than taking it to the limit mode. There might be a more gripper tyre out there for the Stock Honda but the MG Yellows are great balance between cost and performance – good luck :)
I would be keen to stick with yellows, however the performance drop off after three race's is dramatic, way more than the SL6. I might be keen on a bulk buy if price is right Paul.
From what I remember everyone in Vic Stock Honda runs MG yellows. They are a fantastic tyre that give confidence to a new driver and encourage bold moves from experienced drivers. Working on a list for you now Pil...
Stewy, I'd prefer if you didn't divulge all my inner most secrets to the public.... after all I don't discuss your gay tendencies.... oh wait, yes I do.

Also I like girls with long legs, tight butts & large breasts, but that may be too much information. Oh & also most of my mates, like Pil, are smart arse @unts but I put up with them because I like to be happy & have a gay time. I'll take a set of yellows too please unless they come in rainbow. ????
Mike, be aware that the MG White wet tyres are only speed rated to 160kph. Better off using the Dunlop if you ask me. I have a set of the new Hoosier 5 inch wets to try that will be getting a workout when it rains next on mine. If you guys are after a bulk deal, I might be able to help you with that.

We already did one Ashley, I have it sorted and it worked well. I may organise something else soon depending on demand....... Paging Captain Risky
Used MG White at Phillip Island to win a VSKC race outright in my Stock Honda in the wet. Was leading by the time I exited MG corner, gridded so far back behind the 250's and 125 opens. DEA Twin had nothing on the Stock Honda :D. The tyres were perfect after that race and were used again at Eastern Creek 2 weeks ago, no problems with MG White on Stock Honda. I sold all my wet 5" tyres so I don't have any $$$ reasons to talk MG Whites up or down......they are effin awesome in really wet conditions.

Re: Tyre agreement and bulk buy
Interested in doing a bulk buy of yellows if anyone else is in. We're looking at about 8 sets MG Yellows + 4 sets MG Whites.
