I'm looking at getting into go kart racing and I'm not 100% sure what make or chassis size to pick. I've looked at Kosmic, Arrow, Formula K ect still not sure. Im 6ft 2 and 90kgs looking at running in Tag medium. Cheers for the help
Any and all brands will do the job. What you need at the track is help, so look around your area and see which shops are at events, who is helping their customers and how many of each brand of kart is racing. Â
Karting is an enormously difficult sport to master, so get as much help as you can.
As this is your 1st kart I would direct you to an Australian built kart where parts are a lot cheaper than one made in Italy such as Kosmic, Redline, Exprit, Tony etc. A second hand Arrow X3 with a 30/30 (mm) frame would be my choice Fitted with a Rotax 125Â & an Alfano/Micron. Packages come up fairly regularly for under $4000 & are good value. Arrow also produce an extendable front for the taller driver..
Cheers Ian, I've been in contact with my local club they have been really helpful so far  Ian Williams said:

Thats good to know i've been leaning towards Arrow more. Wanting to get a x30 but would get a rotax for the right price. Thanks Ricard richard gagie said:
