The world has started noticing the ongoing intensity of fires in Australia, making the link between drought, climate change and the actions of our politicians.
It looks like Australia is going to be in the world spotlight regarding our actions on climate change. The world media have noted that Australia might only have 1.5% of the carbon emissions, but we have less than 0.5% of the world's population with much political positioning but yet to have much actual impact.
We would like to think that individual Australians can do the right thing, even if our politicians are slow to react.
The karting contribution to pollution is likely proportionally very small but what does doing the right thing in karting mean - can we make changes to support a larger goal? What do those changes look like and when is the right time to make them?
