Hi all, found my carb to the leaking a couple club days ago, replaced the gaskets and within 2 club days it is leaking again. Used an Ibea kit, wondering if I should use a different kit or what solutions there are to stop the leak?My pop off is set to 10psi holding at 8psi, however when the carb is reassembled it struggles to get to the 10psi pop off due to said leak becoming an issue around 7psi I feel like it has really affected the mid range rpm performance. Attached is a photo of where the leak is (as you can see I've tried to minimise the leak by adding some washers & springwashers lol) Thanks Luke.

Hi Luke,
My guess is that you have a warp in one of the faces.
Been a while since I looked at this carb but provided there are no ribs that bite into the gasket I would suggest the following:
Get some fine wet and dry and lay the sheet on a flat surface ( glass is excellent or bench top) then gentle rub the face in a figure of eight motion on the wet paper checking frequently for the witness marks that show your progression until you have a flat surface
good luck
Thanks Ian, I'll give that a go with the pump body, as the manifold body has the ribsÂ
