Just wanted to congratulate Anthony Martin on behalf of Arrow & Flat Out Karts who has been instated as the 2012 Australian Champion for Clubman Light. This takes Arrow karts haul of Green plates in 2012 to 6 and 67 titles in the history of Arrow karts.
Anthony would be the first karter to win his maiden green plate before his maiden blue plate which he won at the WA titles held in Bunbury in Clubman Light as well ! Anthony has won himself $4000 as part of the Arrow Rewards program for his green plate ! We all wish Anthony and his family success in the next stage of his racing career !

So what happened to James Sera ?Â
Â
Congrats to Anthony BTW.
Â
Dave
Some kind of engine transgression, I believe, though I know none of the details.
Col you are being politically transgressed yourself, in laymans terms David what Col means is the engine failed the tech inspection post race and the appeal dismissed.
And the inspection that they say he failed on would also see every engine that was ever modified from standard fail as well .
This whole thing has been a farce ........!! And those that should have stood up just sat on their hands and looked at their shoe laces ...
Â
Â
Disgusting ...
More information, RV?
Agreed. Ralph van Doorn said:

I will add one to both categories.. Congrats Anthony on winning a green plate... A Clubman Light national championship is indeed an honoured title.Â
And could RV please explain what he means by .. every engine that was ever modified from standard... is now illegal ?
I have one of the fastest clubbys in the land... if not the fastest... Shinnosuke Nagasawas regendary yamaha... sitting under my bench and will be pretty pissed if I find out it is now deemed illegal. Â
Yes Steve, but when the "Official" Australian Champion crossed the line in second, of course there will be questions and discussions as to why.
It's not my place to discuss what I've heard in regards to why James lost the appeal, but i agree with Ralph's statement.
Cmon Willo... give us a clue. Â Otherwise I have to go find out myself and that defeats the purpose of Kartbook. Whats a little gossip here or there ? Â Were gonna find out eventually anyway ?
Pete I don't know the tech regs or details well enough. But I agree that everyone should be able to check their engines for the same thing. Maybe an official tech statement should be made before heresy and rumors take over.
Willo... are you trying to destroy Kartbook ? Â Without heresay and rumors there would be no Kartbook. It would just be race reports and AKA propaganda mixed with repetitive technical questions like " how do I stop my Rotax backfiring " and "Can someone tell me what a power valve does ?"..
The busiest sections would be marketplace and the vintage boys having a great time... other than that none of us would know anything unless someone else has the balls to get up on here and tell there side of the story... especially since the new AKA cyber policy took out a lot of our most knowledgeable members. Â Not all of us can get to the track to find out things on the grapevine... so KB is our best source of info. Â Cough it up and save me 10 bucks in phone calls...
