Wouldn't that be good if you had that choice with the AKA! Paul Hewitt said:

What a great event this is we did it some years ago and had a great time. Raleigh is always a great time, just wish I had a driver.
Â
Just an update and some changes
entries will open 1st September
Entry fee is $350 per team. 50% to be paid with entry by the 30th September to secure the event.
will be a two day event not the past single day event, meaning more track time and qualifying on saturday afternoon.
Track owner has even widened the circuit even more since last post with more to come before the event.
let me know if anyone is interested can send draft regs or answer any questions.
Great event to finish the year on, something all sprinters should try, an enduro, its really great fun and offers a whole different approach to karting that the sprint format just doesn't cater for, its a real mental as well as physical event, imagine doing 80+ laps in one go doing laps times just above qualifying, having a team mate to consider, pit strategies, on track strategy, safety carts, drive to and from pit bays ala v8s, all on one of Australias best tracks over 1050m in length. its been known as and is THE BATHURST OF KARTING..
event is open to all drivers 16 and over, no licence restrictions, those who restricted TAG125 engines simply remove the restricter plates.
Come on and have a go you wont be sorry
Hi Paul
Â
Can you send the sup regs to me please You have my email address I think
Â
Where has he widened the track
Â
Cheers
Pete
Hi Peter,
Â
I have to do some mods to the regs, so they are about a couple of days away. but will send when set.
Â
Chris has widened basically inside and outside of turn 1 by a meter each side, and continues on outside of turn one up over the hill, probabaly wont effect karts too much, might make the turn a bit softer on the body. Although inside of turn one change may see a change of line. Â
with the event going abck to a two day event giving heaps of tracktime we are looking at bringing back the top ten shoot-out qualifying format, been a real success in past events and will again give that Bathurst of karting feeling.
just a reminder to amyone thinking of having a run at this event we need your entry in by the 30th Sep 50% deposit to accompany the entry.
entries are starting to flow in, anyone who has a TAGR kart you are quite welcome to have a run just take the restrictor out.
good numbers appearing on the list, still some room for a few more so give it some thought its a great event to have some fun at, not often does this sport offer a team type event in an endurance format for 125 TAG engines. A real test for drivers.
