So there's less then 4 months till the State Titles in Gladstone. There's 3 meets before the States: 21st January, then 2weeks later on the 4th February and the shakedown meet on the 3rd & 4th March. Make sure you get your accommodation booked as early as possible as its a busy time round Easter.

sounds good Skettie, guess need to accommodate all class but DD2 ?? I haven't seen it as a state title before is this something new
I would have thought that the club would still have Senior National Light & Senior National Heavy as the Pro class only applies to the National Championships whereas the Lights and Heavys can be split for State Championships
According to the new rule book Jaime the compulsory classes for the open states are the same as the nationalsJamie Penningh said:I would have thought that the club would still have Senior National Light & Senior National Heavy as the Pro class only applies to the National Championships whereas the Lights and Heavys can be split for State Championships
Don't bother calling it 'pro', just call it Senior National

Senior National 100cc is a low horsepower class using low grip tyres. This class has State Championship status in both Light and Heavy divisions andNational Championship status at 150kg minimum combined kart / driver weight.
Straight from the 2012 rule book.

Looks like there is a contradiction in the rule book, cause it does also say that state titles must run the same classes as nationals but the state may nominate up to six additional classes. If we get the amount of J entries as Warwick did I don't see why they should be forced into one class.
Does anybody know if camping allowed at Gladstone for the shakedown & States, cheers Michael
Hey Craig are DD2 still included in the draft sup regs?

Michael there's no camping at the track for the states, we just won't have enough room. I'll ask about the shakedown and get back to you.Michael Gee said:Does anybody know if camping allowed at Gladstone for the shakedown & States, cheers Michael
