For the 7th year running Remo Racing will once again put on a Leopard Final Shootout event in 2011. The official name will now be IAME NATIONAL FINAL Venue: 2011 SA State Open Championships November 25-27 - Go Kart Club of SA.
Competitors will recieve an invitation to enter the IAME NATIONAL FINAL and have a chance to win fantastic prizes if they compete in a minimum of 3 rounds at their Official IAME Challenge Series Event.
The fantastic prizes up for grabs at the FINAL held at the SA State Titles will only be eligible to the drivers who put in their entry for Leopard Light and Heavy classes with an INVITATION. Drivers who enter Leopard Light and Heavy at the SA State Titles who do not have an invitation will not be included in the prize pool.
ALSO, if competitors compete in all rounds then they will receive an invitation to enter the Bruno Grana World Final in France.
As part of the IAME National Final we will be holding IAME CHALLENGE events across Australia "in conjunction with existing series events" only RL and X30 engines are eligible.
Stand alone Leopard Light and Heavy Classes will be offered at all rounds of the IAME Challenge events (except NSW who will offer TaG Light and Heavy
Its easier to win prizes in our series and to race overseas!
"there are no series points to acumulate to be eligible for these great prizes and it does not matter if you finish first or last in a series, everyone has the opportunity and there is no limit to the quantity of drivers I can take to the Bruno Grana X30 World Final in France, you have an invitation to enter the final if you have done ALL the rounds of a series!!
Best of luck and thankyou for your support" Remo Luciani

Hi Sabrina, what is happening for Queenslands series?
It seems to be all ROTAX up here ,Sabrina Luciani said:
Steven, sorry but we have made plenty phone calls. The QLD Coordinator said that he sent out correspondence to all the clubs regarding holding another Supercheap Series and IAME Series but has only had a reply from Toowoomba Kart Club which he said was positive.
I am otherwise thinking that next week I will just pick out some meetings on the QLD calendar and making them IAME Challenge Events, there is nothing stopping me from doing that to support the QLD Karters I guess. Its not fair that you guys have to miss out. QLD was one of our strongest supporters in Leopard.
Another idea was if you karters got together and proposed something or just go to your local clubs and ask them. What do you think? I am open to suggestions.
Hi Sabrina, Could we do a three round series? Maybe include state's in it, just have to organize 2 rounds then.Sabrina Luciani said:

Awsome news, thanks Sabrina.Sabrina Luciani said:
I have just been notified by Lindsay Dagan that a group has been formed to run a Supercheap and IAME Series in Queensland this year to carry on the great work done by John Lane, more news at it comes to hand.
So QLD Leopard RL and Parilla X30 engine owners, rest assured as you will not miss out on the great Prizes and great Opportunities that Remo Racing and IAME is giving to all Series competitors across Australia.
There was supposed to be a AKAQ meeting weekend before last....but cause of the cyclone floods etc...has been deferred to first weekend in March.
I have been asking for help and support from clubs to do Supercheap/Leopard in 2011. There are a group of karters....mainly from central Qld...who were coming to the meeting to ensure there is a series happening in Qld. I have had no response from clubs, but have had a lot of individuals offering assistance......Sorry, but I cannot commit the time on my own to make it happen. As Sabrina knows, there is massive work and hours put in to make all this happen....and when it is not 100% right in the karters eyes....they are quick to jam the knives in.
I have offered all the assistance I can, but I can't do it alone. There will definitely be a series in QLd.....given the enthusiasm of the people offering to help......so watch this space....
Well said Sabrina, John has organized a fantastic series, guys like John and his family is what keeps karting alive and allows us drivers to enjoy a fantastic weekend of racing in a series.
Thanks again John, am sure Denis and his fellow helpers will keep this series alive and going well.
Cheers
