Toyota, IAME, MG Tyres & Remo Racing presents
2009 LEOPARD FINAL SHOOTOUT!
Event: Toyota IAME MG Tyres Remo Racing 2009 Leopard Final Shootout!
Date: Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November 2009
Venue: Go Kart Club Of Victoria's VACC Park circuit, Melbourne Victoria
The decision to make the Leopard Shootout event a 2-day meeting is to assist those who work and those who are students who may have exams at that time of the year. This is also cost effective as you need to take less time off for this event. However for those who have have the time or have not been to the circuit before and would like some track-time, it will open for un-official practice the week prior (not compulsory).
Supp-regs will be available in due course, so check the website for updates

"We are very passionate about karting and are proud to say that you cannot find these sort of prizes on offer anywhere all in the one event and we can't wait to give away a brand new TOYOTA YARIS MOTORCAR to a very lucky competitor on Sundays Presentation which will be drawn from a 'hat'. So hope to see you at the Leopard Final Shootout and good luck to all!"

THE MOST POWERFUL EVENT OF THE YEAR!
Running together at the same event on 31st October and 1st November will be
>TOYOTA IAME MG TYRES REMO RACING 2009 LEOPARD FINAL SHOOTOUT
>BEL RAY OILS & LUBRICANTS 2009 FORMULA 100 NATIONALS
>FORMULA 200 SUPER
>KZ2 (GEARBOX 125) KARTS
The weekend will be THE performance show piece of Australian Karting, with entertainment, grid girls and displays complimenting the event
The Formula 100 is an AKA National Championship class while Leopard is the annual Grand Final Shootout with massive prizes, including a brand new car.
These two categories are more than enough to draw the crowds to the fence, but how about this - 200 Supers and 125 Shifter karts are set to join the action! The 200cc monsters will be a combination of open class Supers (reed or rotary valve engines) and Twin Clubmans.
Word is there are several drivers coming from interstate (these classes still run in WA and TAS) and some of the locals are dusting off their karts.
Some are even getting new chassis constructed! The 125 Gearbox class is for KZ2/ICC machines and here too, many karts that have been placed in storage are set to return to the racetrack.
Domenic Albanese is the organiser for the F100 Nationals, the Formula 200 Supers and the KZ2 ICC Gearbox classes.

Oh yeah this is going to be an event not to be missed... This will be far better then Rotax nats... We'll be racing on real tyres with actual horsepower.... Can't wait... Remo always provides a great meeting with awesome prizes which get bigger and better every year... I'm always keen to support Remo and the leopard series.... Bring it on...
Cheers

cant wait...its gonna be great to finally race on a grippy track....hope its 30+ degrees to... :)
I think someone should approach ONE HD for this meeting.
I dont know how much it'd cost but I'd be happy to pay an extra $100 on top of entry if I knew it was going to be on free to air TV with a host and commentators like Greg Rust, Cam McConville etc..
Probably dreaming tho. But then again there's that much Netball and Poker and other crap on there, you never know!
Hey Sab or Remo are you having coverage for this event this year like last year with david tapp? Should be good to combine it with the F100 nats... Any plans yet?

What, KartBook TV isn't good enough for you!? =D
Geez!
Hey col.. of cause you are first preference.. Would be great for you to have a coulpe of Cam's set up with also on board footage.... Come on Col.. Step up and show fox sports what the "little" aussie battler can do.....

Gets a bit fuzzy on a 50" plasma Col ;-)
The Foxtel coverage is good but how good would it be on ONE HD!!
I'm sure Toyota could help by throwing their weight around and help karting in Aus grow.
Would sure be better than Slam Ball
