KARTING NSW CIRCUITS TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Karting NSW would like to advise all licence holders that all circuits affiliated with the Association (with the exception of Canberra) will be temporarily closed as of midnight this evening (June 30).
This closure is due to the fact that the track licence renewals have not been processed by the Department of Sport & Recreation prior to the June 30 expiry date.
It is expected that the circuits will be closed for the duration of Wednesday July 1, but are likely to be licenced and available for use prior to the end of the week.
Karting NSW apologises for any inconvenience and assures members that it is working closely with the Department of Sport & Recreation to ensure the circuits are re-opened at the earliest possible moment.
Are the NSW tracks open again? No further announcements.
NKRC is - not sure about the others.
I had fun practicing at Newcastle this afternoon.
Check with your intended track...
You are keen Carl!! I haven't even driven a kart since the start of the year and will have to finish a 'run in' in qualifying tomorrow!!
How is the body? Newy is known as a body basher with its high G corners and bumps Carl White said:

Come say 'Giday', red trailer 4 up from Doug..
We still have a few tracks closed:-
The Clubs that have NOT had their track licence Issued by the Department of Sport & Recreation and therefore remain closed are:
Central Coast
Coffs Harbour
Grafton
Gunnedah
Lismore
Nepean Speedway
Kurri Kurri Kart Speedway
Orange
Tamworth
Wagga
It is expected the outstanding track licences will be issued early next week.
Without a miracle, Gunnadah won't ever open again, just not enough people to do the work needed to pass the track inspection.... Any ideas?
Let's hope the rest do get passed this week.
NAB Cup on at Tammy next w/e...
