bad news for karting in nsw :(
we missed out on a great opportunity to put some people with real drive and motivation on the executive. it would've been a great move forward for the sport but alas we're stuck with the same old crowd.
After the ACCC Supreme Court decision you might not have a NSW AKA ...how they going to pay the fines ..???
Pete - Have you checked to verify that statement .... Who is going to pay for the individuals ..??? AKA Insurance does not cover criminal activity !!!
Hi Pete
You need to get up to date me thinks .! .. the tin in NSW only has $150K in it - and for the year ending 30 June 2009 they made a huge profit of only $812.00.....
The ACCC Supreme court actions and proceedings have not been provided for in the compilation financial report and the legal costs there could amount to more than whats in the tin ...!! ..let alone the fines that may eventuate ...this is serious stuff, and on the 24th July 2009 such allegations if found are now termed criminal offences .! .no insurance cover mate and no bail out from AKA National for criminal activity !!!! - so NSW could be on the ropes ...how good would that be !! you can start from scratch with a proper team !!
Cheers
Ralph
