Next weekend 3 Aussies will be racing at Heartland Park Topeka at the United States Kart Grand Prix.
This event also incorporates a round of the United States Superkart Series (USSK).
Mike Wayne will be running his Stockman / Yamonda, Tracey Crawford will be running the Stockman/CR125 and I will be running my Stockman / Yamonda after I get around fitting a new crank into it from the Laguna Seca last lap failure.
So I guess Mike and I will be racing in the 250 twin class for USSK series and I'll try and encorage Tracey to race in the same race but under the Formula 125 Superkart class.
We can also run in Unlimited class under the USKGP series and Trace can also run in Unlimted and F125 class for the USKGP series.
Below are the karts that we are running.
Tracey's Kart....will be fitted with a Stock Honda Spec CR125 engine.

and here is a picture of Drongo's kart when it runs out of fuel on the track. ;D

But the question of the day is this.
Where in the USA do you dial 911 to catch a cab and not a cop.....no bullshit....all the cabs had 911 on the roof.
Winner gets a free beer at Phillip Island.

And how about the Relecting Pool in Washington? Bad drought or Obama can't afford the water?

Re: Heartland Park Topeka - 2011
Paul,
Your first on the list when I get back.....
Mike Wayne has delayed his arrival to Heartland Park Topeka, so I go a perfect person to jump into his kart for Friday's practice to ensure the it still works.
Mike doesn't know this yet.........wait till he reads the forum. ;D
Re: Heartland Park Topeka - 2011
You DON"T dial 911 for a cab in Washington. It's all to do with cab drivers being mugged.
Aparently IF the light is on the cab is being hijacked and they are calling for help.
Is that worth another beer Sammy?
Please?
;D
And all that dirt in the pond? That WAS Sammy looking for coins
Re: Heartland Park Topeka - 2011

Best Regards
Ian :)
Re: Heartland Park Topeka - 2011
Mike said he will be arriving Friday night, so your got all day Friday to wear it out. Practice is open all day....should get about 8 hours on the crank before Mike arrives. ;D

Re: Heartland Park Topeka - 2011
It must have been the missus logged on using my account at home.
We were supposed to be going with Eric and the 2 x Joes to fill up Dean's van, however when Dean and I returned from a shower (no not together!!!), they had gone, so we gave chase. Never said goodbye to Bobby Butler (he was in his RV shower), Bernie, you guys and many others. Please accept my apologies for that.
Great to see you all and hopefully see you in November at PI.
Ashley, "S" does indeed stand for "Super" or "Super ICE". At present this is exclusively GasGas, but allows for other single cylinder hybrid or specifically manufactured race engines with 6-speeds. (like my billet cased Viper S250 if ever it get's finished!! ;)).
Best Regards
Ian :)
Re: Heartland Park Topeka - 2011
I am not sure as I just copied it from 250superkart.com .
I have seen what you have written about the "Super CR" (6 speed, counter balance shaft, billet case etc) I think it was on another Superkart forum and I hope it sees the light of day soon. The only thing is that your market at the moment might only be the USA and us.
People that put time effort and money into R&D Superkart engines etc should be congratulated and supported.

Also got a 3rd pair of Nikes at $60.00, which are normally over $200 in USA.
Poor Trace didn't have as much luck as I did but she got 2 pairs of Addidas shoes for under $90.00 total.
I also got 2 different styles of Tommy Hilfinger designer jeans in Chicago for $24 each, normally over $100 in USA.
Our bags were full and to the weight limits. I felt I did alright anyway. ;D
