My racing started about 25yrs ago. YEA i'm an oldie. Then I was competetive against Drew Price, and others. 2002 the better half and I rode too the Island to watch these "Superkarts". I was gone for all money.
Hunted around for one, negotiated, then purchased one. Joined a club then needed a "licence". Saw a "CAMS" doctor who told me that I had had a HEART ATTACK. (What drugs was he on?) Went for a stress test and everything came back fine. QUACK!.. I raced this thing and I was hooked.
2004 I smashed big time and since then have been rebuilding this beast, new Zip frame, wheels brakes seat etc.motor(250Twin RS) was fine. Many thanx too Dave Hepworth S.A.for the parts.
Its a shame that some club members look down on others. On buying some bits for my hobby, one member said to me"Why are you going to race again, your in the Heart attack age group". I will not put my reply too him on this forum. Use your imagination.. I was pre told about "Clickyness" within some karters.Shame I'm racing for fun.

Disappointed but Determoned
I think it was at the 2002 National Title. It was a Zip Eagle with RS250.
Wasn't Guachi's team called "Immortal Racing"?
