FYI - I emailed KA about this. Refer below message and attached screenshot. Hopefully they can correct this in the next edition.
I noticed some references to drivers being referred to as "he" in the 2016 rule book. As a proud father of two daughters considering getting into racing, I was hoping you could correct this in the next edition of the rule book. Refer Competition Rules Chapter 3 - Section 6 where I found 5 instances of "he". There are also 3 more instances in the remainder of the rule book.

As I have asked before at an Officials Meeting -
Would a person other than a "he" be capable of being a KA Race Director ?
And - Would a person other than a "he" be allowed to be a KA Race Director ?
Might I suggest that he, she, he/she and she/he not be used ?

Dont tell WA.There wont be any racing if thats the case.
Yes they could be referred to as competitor or driver or official instead of gender.
just change it to IT
You won't, it needs to be sent via your club. Benny A said:
I note this hasn't been corrected in the latest edition of the 2016 Australian Karting Manual. Update 3 - Updated 23/6/2016.
I emailed KA about this on the 17th March. I did not get a response.
