With what happened at the Vic open. Having drivers sent home for reasons such as DNS, and the way it was handled. Not being told until they rolled up to the grid for a pre final on the sunday Is a classic reason for having some sort of drivers rep.
I think there would be very few times that a drivers rep would realy be required, but it seems that there needs to be some form of voice. i have heard some say that issues should be taken to your club meets. But thats a bit hard. When your 1200km from your club and in the middle of a meet.
