Just wondering what happened to formula 100. Has everyone just suddenly stopped racing it? Its still in the manual and a bloody ripper of a class, and it wasnt run at the nationals last year. Is this class well and truly dead? Will it be gone from the manual by 2013? I would really like to see it up and running again because it is an awesome class. And also what is with the new rule with rotax and leopard? What are the AKA doing?

What is the new rule with Rotax and Leopard?

F100 suffered from bad timing last year. It has also suffered from the popularity of KZ2. F100 is a great class and probably my favourite karts to drive. I believe Dom (the only promotor of F100) is organising a Horsepower Heaven for July and F100 is probably going to be offered, but I expect it will probably not form numbers for a National Title ever again.
i love F100, much nicer to drive than a yamaha clubman and there nothing like the sound of 20,000 RPM at the end of the straight!! 100cc is the back bone of karting, without it the sport would be dead. i maintain my own engines to keep costs down for me, once you've heard the pure and lovely sound of an italian 100cc reed or rotary valve engine you'll NEVER forget how great they sound.
