Ralph, as a kart dealer/ builder were you included/invited to the KIAA.?
I remember Wayne Woolston ( Troys dad) was el pres or something and the dealers were getting all shops and builders together to professionalise the sport and network sponsorship deals with corporates etc. This would grow the sport and attract corp sponsors by help from dealers and manufacturers. It was a fantastic mission statement and idea at the time as most kart dealer felt a bit despondant with BAM and AKA to moving the sport forward ( god I just did a Gillard wank) sorry.
The way it was presented is that the KIAA was to take this sport ( and kart Industry ) by the scruff of the neck and get some major deals going.
Thats why i put up the duscussion.
WALKABOUT??? Nar most of the members were not indigenous.but just business guys trying to make a difference in a positive way.
