Hi Scott, Can you give us a race report on the Nationals – what happen on the weekend to Jory and Raff ??? Congratulations to Jory on a quick lap time running by himself – can only get quicker in company :)
Allan, you've probably checked Natsoft, but here's the brief. Raff had issues most of the day before finishing the final. He had changed a multitude of things on the kart since last year which caused problems, unleaded fuel, kill switch etc. Jordie was just getting used to the new kart, only minor tweeks needed and was putting in some good times before he suffered a 'lack of benzine to the cylinder'. Rookie mistake by the pit crew, made worse by their second mistake of leaving the spare engines at home!
Jody had the pace and hopefully this experience will help the team so that is is not a problem later in the year. I hoping to run the April meeting at PI to sort the kart out so looking forward to seeing you there. :)
Good to here Allan. Should be a couple more to play with then. Dales debuting his new kart and Scott Appledore told me he'll be running too after getting some Viper updates. New chassis' seem to like the PI track ;D
Hi Scott, I am not going to make the PI meeting in April unforuntately as the Kart might not be finished in time but will go instead to the SMP meeting in May 3rd for the experience. ;)
Hope you guys can make that meeting for a practice run before the first round. :)
Definitely going to SMP as I believe a few other Nats are too, Sunday only meeting I hear now which suits me. Probably only running one single at PI now for a new guy but that will depend on how he goes in testing at Winton next week.

Re: VSKC Round 1 Phillip Island
Yes, it is a Sunday only meeting but Wayne H. tells me the following:
There is Friday practice. I think its about $130.00 and you get around 5 x
15 min sessions.
Saturday is actually a race meeting. Its a 2 day event but we are only doing
Sunday.
The track is the GP track. That's the old full track that the v8 supercars
run on. Likely the track you'd know to.
Cheers
Wayne
