Havent heard alot about each race, wondering if there was a real close or exceptional individual drive in any races. Unfortunently couldnt attend.........................
My junior national light race was great with myself, Liam Morey, Joseph Mawson and Jordan Nicalou breaking away away from the other 40 karts. Lead changes happening every lap. In the end Jordan Nicalou won with a great drive beating me by only 0.002 seconds in the end.
Also Jordan had to start from 37 in the pre-final and finished 7th in that race.
Finishing positions Jordan Nicalou
Brock Plumb
Liam Morey
James Hughes (I finished in this position because i got relegated back to 4th for something i didn't even do. Cant wait to see the start of the junior national light race on kartbook tv.)
jordy nicolaou jnl
pre final 37th to 8th
final ended up winning... outstanding and smart drive

Hi what did they say you did
Kart contact but there was 2 karts in between me and the person i supposably made contact with and i was also in front of the other kart at this stage.

I was the commentator on the day and Jordan Nicolou's effort stood out clearly as one of the best on the day.
Fast, but not stupid with it.
Loved the Midgets and Rookies finals too, lots of lead changes (even though Reece Sidebottom won midgets easily - the battles behind were great)
Naturally I can't fail to mention Adam Hughes and Kingy's run in Leopard Light either. Gotta love a 1-2!
Bart Price was on it in the final of CH.went from like 26th to 5th
my first vic open as a spectator, brilliant racing!!!!! not sure who the best was, but really great racing in most of the finals, midgets were IMO the most entertaining and cleanest racing.....excellent, cannot wait to be in the thick of it next year!!
jordy nicolaou junior national light started pre-final from 37th and ended up winning the final. Awsome finish!
lots of great race,s at the open midgets and rookies once they got going put on a great show and Danny Richerts win in leopard was a good race after braking a throttle cable in the pre final he drove from near the back of the pack to a commanding win .also Ricky Capo in J C final was balls to the wall driving he didn't wait to draft karts he just drove on by pity he didn't start further up the field for the final he just might have ended up on one of the top steps hes probably one of the best drivers that has come straight from rookies to J C .clubman over 40s with Remo and Greg DICKER swapping the lead several times was a good display of 2 fast drivers that have enough respect for each other to race hard and clean great drive by both
Im going to be pretty biased and say what a top drive Jason Stania did in the final, after droping back to 8th in the first lap of the closest super heavy feild in years he pegged back more than half the straight on the leaders to almost come away with the win.
Jordan Nicalou put in a great drive on sunday as did Daniel Richet, I was still confident he would win even with the pre final dramas.
I assisted Steve with the commentary and from my point of view the midgets final was one of the most entertaining races I have seen in quite some time! There were several great perfomances:
Reece Sidebottom - Total dominance in midgets, was never headed in the final.
Dave Sera - The usual "Deadly" faultless performance in RL & CL, proving why he is Australia's best.
Adam Hughes - 4 starts for 4 wins in LL.
Jordan Nicolaou - Pre final drive in JNL was unbelievable!
Ryan Sanderson - Heats 1 & 2 to move up through the field after qualifying 22nd.
Jason Stania - CSH finals drive was good when it counted.
Josh Brooker - CSH strong qualifying and snagged a heat win (pretty impressive for someone that has only been driving a clubby for a few months).
Ricky Capo - JC final drive was fast and smart after starting out of 22.
Daniel Richert - LH recovery was superb, fastest in the class all weekend.
James Golding - Rookies, fastest all weekend.
Bart Price - CH final drive was a pearler.
James Sera - Hasn't been in a kart for 5 months, borrows Dave's kart and is on the pace!
The unlucky ones:
Mason Thomas - JNH looked to be in real contention in the final.
Adam Lindstrom - JC really wanted to see a drag race to the line with Jordy Ford!
Chelsea Angelo - Rookies, got tangled up in the Pre Final, recovered to 21st after the whole field had gone by only to have a DNF in the final. Had good pace and qualified really well, should have been on or near the podium.
William Yarwood - Like in JC I wanted to see the drag race to the line......
see dicko's response!!
ps - kartbook TV finals part one is up on the front page :)
