Can you take a magazine, or maybe a nice feature-length movie on your iPhone, out with you?
ive been there when i was younger. it was rediculusly slow and i had to reach back to the motor to pull the accelerator leaver to get it to go quicker which laster 3 laps before i got in trouble. all karts are different speeds makes for an average time haha. think they have new karts there now not sure how they are. track is cool banking on some corners
u dont need the brake either
I think you'd b able to hold the accelerater the whole lapLuke Anderson said:

That track would be great fun in proper karts. I'd make the trip from Sydney if I could afford it.

Big Kart Track . What a awsome place i used to race junior international there back in the late 80's . Fast flowing track with plenty of overtaking . They used to run it in both directions and could change the back part of the track so you could use all the track or some of it also had night meetings there . Yes the hire karts are slow but after a day or night of racing all us juniors use to jump on and punt each other all round the joint some of my best karting memories where there. Gold Coast Kart Club used to run the meetings there but not sure what happened. Would be great to get racing back there
There was an incident there during an AKA practice session where someone was seriously hurt. They sued the track - unsuccessfully - but the owner decided that he did not need the aggro and made more money from hire rather than the AKA anyway.
I raced Piston Port & RESA there in the late 90's and loved it, especially the sweeper leading into the off camber S bends
