Leopard Engine, box-type electrics + key-type engine electrics (rotor,
etc.), complete with muffler, carby, radiator, airbox (older-style,
black in colour), water pump, etc. etc. All ancillary components needed
to run the motor.
Good condition, maintained by Brian Lindsay.
Bought late 2006 second-hand, but then fully reconditioned (new barrel,
piston, crank bearings, little end bearings, etc.- making it virtually a
new engine). It has not been raced in over 12 months. New regulations
for AKA competition this year have introduced a rev limiter for Leopard
motors. The engine does not have a rev limiter so you would have to
install one if you wanted to race the motor in an AKA sanctioned race. I
think the cost is about $300 but have a look at the Remo Racing web site
(www.remoracing.com.au) for details. It needs no work at the moment. You
would have to arrange pick up by your courier (we are in Newcastle) or
alternatively we could arrange delivery to you at your cost.
