I just entered, paid and posted for Tracey and myself. Trace doesn't know it yet.......I guess she will sign her "Drivers" paperwork on Sat 1st Oct down there. ;D
Trace said that the pace car laps in February with Rolf behind the wheel were awesome. Was it the track or Rolf's driving?
I guess the afternoon of 1st October will be have an answer. ;)
See ya down there.
PS......
If anyone is stuck for this meeting before DPE stocks arrive, I will have with me just 1 set of brand new in wrappers latest Bridgestone YLH tyres. Will sell at my replacement cost of $400. Put your name on them before someone else does. ;)
Re: Round SEVEN - P/Island entry forms
It WAS my driving......:)
Hope to be doing Pace again in October.
It will be a great meeting.
Be there or be slow in November.
;D
Re: Round SEVEN - P/Island entry forms
I hope that means we won't be slow in November ;) ???
Re: Round SEVEN - P/Island entry forms
Now Barb Hepworth wants her in a twin, I know where there is a spare one next week when it arrives back from USA.

Re: Round SEVEN - P/Island entry forms
Thanks to the Vic Superkart Club for an excellent event and to PIARC for their outstanding marshalling and officials.
Of course I couldn't have achieved my placing without the support of Sam and the Top Torque crew who "encouraged" me to keep racing even when my neck was about to fall off and I felt like throwing up due to my first experience of PI's winds.
And what an outstanding machine is the Stock Honda. It didn't miss a beat all day and handled the track like a dream, even when I spun in the wet coming into MG too fast :o!
My trophy is proudly sitting on the coffee table so it stands out from all of Sam's bling ;).

Sam Zavaglia in Session 5 with a 1:35.01, then borked - Bridgestone YLH
Gary Pegararo in Session 13 with a 1:34.73 and a 1:34.83 - Dunlop DES
Sam Zavaglia in Session 17 with a 1:34.55 and a 1:34.39 - Dunlop DES
Every session I tried something different on Saturday and Sunday......was very beneficial 2 days testing at Phillip Island. I'm sensing some great racing come Novemeber 4-6.
Top Turd Racing electrical gremlin finally found on Sunday test day....... At one stage it nearly had all the electrics from my kart.........You would never beleive the issue.........but as usual, SZR loom gets blamed first and never is :D

Let me guess.
The flux capacitator?
They play up all the time.
Re: Round SEVEN - P/Island entry forms
Cookie,
It wasn't the flux capacitor this time, it was the traction control module. As soon as I isolated and disconnected (because I didn't have a spare made up) the very next session Steve spun into the mud at Honda.
Goes to show, once you depend on it, it's hard to go back. ;)
Anyway, it's good to have a sister team that tests my prototypes before I'm confident to use it in competiton.

Okay Sammy.
Fess up.
Maybe not "The SZR Loom" but something from the electronics department of SZR would be my guess.
Re: Round SEVEN - P/Island entry forms

Rigged?.....Right.
You don't think everything learn't in the SZR/TTR garage will be spilt here do you?
Really?

"What's The Goss" on secrets being kept from the "Super" kart pusher?
When the going gets tough who do they call on?
What results do they get?
The proof is in the pudding. Check the results from round 1 at Eastern Creek. SZR and TTR ditched me for others and where did they finish? Not in P1.
The kart I was pushing won every race in it's class there.
"Goss" has it that I may become a "GUN" for hire in the push starting game.
Don't worry about testing and development just get me to push start you and you get the results.
