seems some tough questions were to be asked about transponders, governance, ACCC & NSW, and the bozos have ducked for cover as usual.
Obviously they do not regard the positions they hold as being of great significance otherwise they would address the issues, then its time for them to go!!!!!!
Well the minutes are up on NSW website.
interesting reading.
Governance got the flick pass as would be expected, seems they want changes made, delaying tactic I feel.
ACCC again I felt was lawyers speak for we maybe guilty but we didn't know what we were doing so can't be punished for ignorance!!!!! strange drivers can't use ignorance of rules as an excuse but the exec can!!!! and claimed all the media coverage of this was incorrect and thus didn't bring the sport into disrepute!!!! yeah right!!!!
The minutes are inconsistant in that they give great detail on one item but very little and scant detail on others, WHY?
I still believe these guys still haven't understood what they are there for,
Lot of things seemed brushed over again. Cameras on karts just seems to hard doesn't it. Just keep putting it off until next meeting.
Did any States get the late agenda items before the meeting?
What is the big deal about seeing how your State voted. They used to have it on the minutes. Eg For NSW, QLD. Against etc. Why don't they put it on now. The only reason I can see is so you don't know how your State voted.
Can someone explain what in camera is? Do we ever get to see the minutes from these or is this where secret stuff happens?
Dale,
Ask your delegate when the late items were produced.
Ask him how he got his instructions to vote that way.
As you say if they list who voted as they should it exposes the delegates that may have voted against instructions and thus not get the secret aquirrel stuff through.
"in camera" to me is when they close the meeting to outsiders, and are only supposed to discuss legal issues that need to be kept quiet, when dealing with tenders/contracts for same reaon, BUT delegates should be able to brief their states as to what was discussed. its often abused thing and its the area where secret squirrels thrive, as no minutes or agendas are produced and hence they hide behind them. What needs to be done is a definate instructions on its use MUST be defined and adhered to when going "in camera" no reason why an agenda cannot be produced so at least the sattes can instruct their delegate on their states feelings in whats being put to them, puts too much pressure on delegates and leaves them vulnerable to being pressured into towing the line.
I personally HATE "in camera" discussions the need for them should be rare, yet tey had TWO sessions of in camera at this meeting alone. its becoming a habit and thats a worry.
In Camera is secret mens business !!!
Interesting that if you plead GUILTY and the court takes your guilty plea and confirms it then you can claim you are not guilty ..!! thats obviously mates version of legal support . funny tho that AKAQ were sent 21 pages of documents outlining where AKANSW apperaed in newsprint and they are telling us that they didn't get any tear sheets ???? - but that didn't bring the sport into disrepute ???? its only karters who do stuff at race meetings that bring the sport into disrepute and are charged and penalised .......the letter from the AKA solicitor about Max signing a contract when he was given advice not to ... seems that never happenned either - yet I have a copy of it ..seems the office never got it ??? was that written expressly to sink the Max !!!! oh my how things develop hey !!!
Time is up ...NKC playing politics has a whole new meaning ............
God we are SO OVER the way this sport is managed!!
