Both the articles are about Motocross bikes built using the 1997-2001 series CR250 engine, on which there is no longer any new availability.
Even the Honda 2001 kit engine - similar in concept to the stock Honda 125 kit engines (which was a Honda USA "kit" of parts at special overall price) is no longer promoted/available.
We have stock of new crankcase induction CR250's and stock/continuing supply of kits to build the 1997-2001, 2002-2004 and 2005 onwards motors.
Our latest developments on the TM 250 motocross motor are aimed at continuence when and if Honda engines and parts become harder to obtain. My guess is perhaps we are looking 5-10 years or so hence. TM are commited to 2-stroke bike production for the forseeable future and the nature of the company (small batch production), would see availability as long as demand continues.
There are also other 2-stroke avenues to pursue.
There is ndeed, plenty of life in the old sdog yet!!

Unfortunately Mr Honda isn't for a U-turn as yet.
