Yes I'm picking we'll see a few sets of it here at the Nationals this year.

The wing end plates looks very simular to what Stocky has been doing for the last 20 years which I think was already in UK prior.

Hi Sam, I don't know if the aero package is much better, perhaps Gavin could provide some feedback? Looks pretty different though, should sell a few sets. Of corse, some critical changes there you can't see in that picture but they require you to buy a Roller to get them. Yes the end plates are very similar to what Stocky makes. Wern't they dirived from an Anderson in the first place as you say? I think it's good to have options there should people wish to update. Well get them when available and funds are available ;) :D
Nobody has run this aero package on track as yet, apart from the large wing endplates which Gavin ran at LeMans last year.
The aim of these was to increase the stability of the kart (that imaho may have been slightly compromised by the 2010/2011 wing design over the 2009 and earlier design). Reputedly this was improved.
The other changes relate to a rear diffuser who's top edge discharges level with the top bumper rail. To facilitate this the rear chassis rail has been raised (stepped up just inside the chassis side rails), so to fit the new diffuser it's either a chassis mod or a new frame.
The nosecone has the central channel(s) removed so the base is flat. There are also cutouts in the underside of the nosecone outboard of the vertical mounting plates, whose top edge forms a upward radiused scoop. It looks as though the idea of these is either to release some grip from the front or to help cool the brakes, but as the underside is a low pressure area, I'm not sure.
I would imagine there would be some development/modifications to get the front/rear balance correct and am not sure that I understand the reasoning of limiting the airflow under the kart and fitting a diffuser that you would imagine needs more airflow to gain maximum efficiency.
Certainly looks the "dogs dangly bits" and I'm sure that the boys will get it to work.
I believe that Gavin has 2 karts (one of each spec) and will obviously be running the best setup in the European races, which may change as the season progresses.
Thanks for the update Ian. Hope Gavin gets over his bank problem soon.
Scott, I thought Ian said that Gavin has a problem with his back, not his bank. :D
The prototype Anderson bodywork, should now get it's first run at the Silverstone test day this coming Sunday 4th March. Testing is on the new International circuit, using the new F1 pitlane.
Unfortunately it was the freezing temperatures, rain, sleet and snow that prevented Gavin from testing the prototype Anderson bodywork at our Silverstone test day, yesterday.
He went out for a few laps in his current kart, but declared the conditions impossible.
Looks like it's first outing may be at Oulton Park on 31st March (if space allows for a twin to enter as a guest of the 250 Nationals, whose Championship it is), or otherwise at Hockenheim, which as Gavin said wouldn't be ideal (being a racing situation for the twins).
For those still interested and following, I believe that having to make a choice for the meeting between 2011/2012 development chassis at the recent European Championship round at Hockenheim (they took both) and particularly because of the impending threat of rain and very limited testing time, Gavin drove the 2011 chassis (hence without the rear diffuser), but with some of the 2012 test bodywork fitted.
The "ducted" flat bottomed nosecone was quickly disgarded previously at Oulton Park, due to massive front grip causing loss of rear adhesion and rear instability.
So, I believe that the nosecone used was still flat bottomed, but without the underside ducts. I am assuming that the logic is to run this nosecone high, so as to get more air under the kart to energise the diffuser (when present), without the sacrifice of too much (any?) front end grip.
