Maxima 927 seems to be fairly widely used amongst Cadets. We did use it at 20:1 for a while but changed over to Redline synthetic at same ratio which in my opinion was better. Most engine tuners still use Shell M as a run in oil and then change to preferred oil. Max revs is really track dependant but you shouldn't need to exceed 15000 as a general rule.
CHT on a Vortex isn't really required as you can't tune on fly anyway and plug reading will give more of an idea on jet and needle position required. Iritop 9 plugs always worked well for us.

Not sure what class you are in, but if Cadet 9, be aware of additional limits on data logging and spark plugs (and gearing and jets...), if you are doing club and zone meetings.
