In January Cooloola Coast Kart Club in Gympie was flooded for the 4th time in 3 years. This was the biggest flood we have had since the track opened.
CCKC are back on the 10th March with Senior National Light being the feature class supported by Yamaha Australia. Every entrant in the feature class is in the draw for a Yamaha Quickshade worth $500.

This was the track at the peak of the the flood.
Hi Everyone
The meeting scheduled for Cooloola Coast Kart Club on the weekend of the 9th and 10th of March has been postponed to another date to be announced.
On the 26th, 27th of February Gympie had a major flood for the 2nd time in 2013. The water from 6 Mile Creek behind the club again backed up and flooded the track around Spray Tech corner and up the hill. This time the mess left is not as bad as January but on advice we have to close the track again for the next 3 to 4 weeks depending on weather. With more rain expected this weekend we will be leaving any cleanup until after an inspection next week and notice will be sent as information comes to hand.
We would like to thank the members and families that came to the flood clean-up in February for their help and support, 51 people working in the rain to clean their track and it was looking better than ever, and for the members that have called already offering service in another cleanup.
Mother nature has dealt the club another blow but she won't keep us down for long.
Regards
