Has anyone bought anything from kartbay.com.au?
I did and guess what the stuff didn't turn up, so this is a warning really to stay away! It wasn't a huge amount of money but enough to pi55 me off, I've got the authorities chasing it, trying to get the money back.

dam, how much did you spend?
How long ago did you order the products. Ive brought stuff through them before and it does take quiet a while to get it. You wont get a reply if you email them either. They're ok if you don't need stuff in a hurry.
Thanks guys, like I said it wasn't that much, a couple of hundred but still no goods 2 weeks later. I'll call him via that mobile, thanks heaps Sabrina.
Cheers
Gavin
Man, I can't believe it but I got the stuff today nearly 3 week after I ordered it.... sorry but thats way too long!
Sorry, I know this is digging up an old thread and especially on my first post but a mate has ordered stuff from kartbay and has not received his stuff nor any email, phone all or anything, it's been three weeks on Sunday. Has anyone got an update phone number or even better an address of where they operate out of.
Again hi all, and I've been a long time reader and have found so much info from this forum.
Cheers for any details in advanve
I have ordered a fair bit from kart bay. Always turned up if not had a reason with it. Still order with them.
I'm not sure that Gary Duff still has much to do with kartbay.

I've dealt with her before. Not only did she not want to compensate me for waiting so long, I was slugged $30 in shipping It took nearly a month for my $700 order to arrive! Never again!! Joe said:

You cant have it both ways ... if you want save a few bucks buying from someone without a physical storefront (and therefore, typically, actual stock), then you have to be prepared for them to order the stock in then ship it out to you. Often they wont order the stock until they have sufficient units on order to justify the shipping. A month? Not that long factoring in the above...
Consumer affairs of victoria disagreees with you sorry, if you advertise something for sale, you MUST have it in stock available to ship. Yes you can have it both ways also as most of these online shops dont have the major overheads of warehouse or shopfront lease and wages to several staff. That it how they are meant to save you a few bucks, not by selling something they dont have.

In saying that, not getting the stock is one thing, but not answering any phone calls or answering any emails after taking money from Paypal is the most frustrating thing, no after sales service. And all this from someone that has raced. (not sure if she is still racing, dont really care) Kasper Kowalski said:
