I didn't see Remo in there, I only read about Rowan Atkinson.
Ah yes, the incredibly mature staff of Kart Magazine are indeed at it again. I was going to write another blog about it, but frankly I can't be bothered expending the energy.
In short, the guy is a total douche. He's like a school kid that has to pick on someone to feel better about himself. He constantly writes articles (heavily laden with exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!) that attempt to make Kart Magazine a real influence on the industry, when in truth, most people just wish he would go away. The only reason people have put up with him is that he's running the only magazine about karting in Australia (crappy as it may be).
Remo, of course, became the bad guy when he supported the NEW magazine and that evil site KartSportNews (by advertising with them) and became the pariah of Kart Magazine. Poor little Ed can't handle the thought of genuine competition brought about by people equipped with weaponry such as actual brains, and seems to be under the impression that school-yard antics like name-calling are a decent method of supporting his cause.
Most people can see right through it, as you have, and all he's successfully demonstrating is that he is, to put it politely, a tool.
Mind you, the BEST thing I have ever heard regards his magazine came from KartBook member Dylan Lindgren, who had this to say about it:
Kart Mag makes me want to stab my eyes out with a fork.
I couldn't have put it better myself.
Sorry, don't know what you guys are talking about. I stopped my Kart Magazine subcription last month and I'm not renewing!! Sick of reading about KM's racing diary, which isn't going to help me go any faster!
Ash Budd said:they have also now resorted to publishing photos in there magazine that have been clearly download from websites and published without permission.
It seems some people would "lift" anything!

I thought that lookey likey with Remo and Mr. Bean was pretty funny.
Not quite as funny as the muppet that wrote in saying how excellent the price comparison article was, but funny nonetheless !!!!
That "muppet" that "wrote in" is ED!!
I mean seriously, I've done nothing but go-karting full time for the last 6 years. I've attended almost every reasonable sized meeting in Melbourne in that time. I've been to so many Golden Power and Country Series races I couldn't count them. I've even attended club days at Pucka, Todd Road, Geelong, Oakleigh, Ballarat, Numurkah, Rockhampton, and more, and yet I've never met a guy named "Albert F" who has been racing for AT LEAST 5 years, in enough different classes that he's created "ACCURATE" data about the costs of racing!
In fact, I'm so confident that this "Albert F" person is fictional, and created solely by Edward, that if the REAL Albert F signs up to KartBook, and uploads a photo of his face, I'll send him my address, and he can come and pick up a free race suit, gloves and boots, IN PERSON.
Once, when Edward had decided that Motorsport News was his "target" (as Remo now is), he had a letters page that printed supportive letters from "Mark W", "Grant R", "Chris J" and "Paul C"... Quite coincidental that Motorsport News received contributions from Mark Wicks, Grant Rowley, Chris Jordan and Paul Carruthers!!

I think there are some personal issues here.....Col, I have been to a lot of major events over the past 20 years and have not met you, and don't recall seeing you on the track...... not that that means anything.
