looking at the results at the junior classic at pucka i see 33 jnr clubbys 16 j max and they want to scrap this class, maybe there is a lot of people who dont want to spend $3500 for one engine to go racing, there are plenty of ARC and YAMAHAS lying around to keep a exciting class alive at major events ,

Hi mate dont know if this true but what i herd is that arcs are beeing axed from the class and it just being yamahas from the start of 2011 not that there axeing the class just the arcs but as i said im not 100% sure if this is trueTim O'Reilly said:Hi Rudy,
There is a discussion called "Junior Performance" where lots of people gave there opinions, be it for or against.
I have also started a discussion in the Technical section to try to find out what the JP class announcement actually means in a bit more detail.
Have a look in both of those, particularly the Tech string which fills in some of the gaps.
I hope that helps, and yeah from memory lots of sentiments like yours. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" even springs to mind without re-reading the 75 or so comments.
All the best,
Tim.
Rudy,
33 Junior Clubbies and 16 Jmaxs both entertained the crowd at Pucka. (There were a few more Junior Clubbies, but they pulled out at last minute for personal reasons.)
BOTH CLASSES had great close racing and I believe that there is room enough for the two classes to run side by side.
If they were to run under the new Junior Performance format, 9 juniors would have been sent home!!! I don't think anyone wants that to happen.
As Tim advises, there had been a lot of discussion on the "Junior Performance" thread.
