I came across this the other day when reading the news online that this group have now got themselves together and will be part of the Election in September
So it's for everyone who is a Motoring Enthusiast basically from all walks of life, first time for me to have a party I could have some real interest in given the years I've been karting.

There is also branch being formed in NSW: http://nsw.amp.org.au/signup/
They would also appreciate members of the karting fraternity joining their cause. Membership applications can be found on their website.

Actually the Australian…
Actually the Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party is not part of the Australian Motorists Party.
Whilst they seem to have a lot of common ground, they are different organisations and run by different people and membership. AMP is ACT based and trying to register in NSW. AMEP is actually Federal. http://www.australianmotoringenthusiastparty.org.au/new_south_wales...
Great to see the interest though

It will be interesting to…
It will be interesting to see how these guys go. If they have done some smart preference dealings with other minor parties like the Fishers and Shooters Party has, then it is not out of the question that they could sneak a senate seat in?
is this the party thats…
is this the party thats getting some talk on TV that COULD get asenate seat??? maybe kb has some national voting pull????
Yes Paul, they may very well…
Yes Paul, they may very well get a senate seat due to the complex and very smart preference dealings they did with other minor parties. There will be quite a few of these non Labor, Coalition or Green parties holding the balance of power and most of those are conservative in nature such as Family First, Palmer United, Liberal Democrats, etc, so Abbott may still have enough support to legislate getting rid of the Carbon Tax, etc. It is very interesting times ahead?
Yes I suspect the greens…
Yes I suspect the greens will block anything and everything, sadly it just ges to show that the tail wags the dog in this country. Come July though things will happen they only need 6 of the 8 newbies and the green wont have ANYTHING to say about it [ GOOD]. How can the senate block things that have been taken to the people and clearly gotten permission fo
