So we can assume the deal is done and all the members are well informed
Not a word??? For 7 years we have heard all the rubbish from bluey and Coleman, but at the end of the day that's all it's been. Rubbish. There's not going to be a new track. Only question will be what will happen with the money????
will have to admit john the silence IS worrying.
Yes Paul.
If I were a member of the club I would be very concerned. There are individuals that have formed a new body - "limited company" and transferred all the funds to the new company......I would want to see what constitution/rules/charter this company has......cause in my opinion, the money may end up going somewhere other than the sport of karting.
Perhaps the members could contact Richard Gagie for advice. Warwick should too.....
Thought it was common knowledge they now have land at pimpima!
We will see. They have had land before
True
Just got a property search back, Pete. Nothing in Qld owned by GC club or the new company. Where is this phantom land???
What point is there doing a property search now when it was clearly stated they are 'negotiating' the purchase of some land. Naturally title won't be transferred until any sale is complete? John Lane said:

what about the extreme hire kart facility at pimpima that we used for the the gc 600 kart races any chance of a deal there to use there track. it just needs kerbs and more tyre walls and the rest is built first class facility. when we were up there we heard that was what they we looking at. is this true or an option for gc kart club.
cheers mick
The track has a 86 DB Limit there was a permit given to run that meeting michael seal said:
