Our club (Wimmera Kart Club) is small with only 12 racing members, been under water twice in 5 months, like track under water, lots of cleanup to do, infrastructure washed down river etc. It's a pitty the people that run the sport havent been able to administer a fund to support all affected clubs with their rebuilding or even put out an appeal for some man/woman power to have working bees.
At our next club meeting I will be asking whether our clun committee has even had a call to see what damage was done etc. There would be many other clubs in the same boat. Perhaps there already is something happening.

Its a sad thing all the damage thats being going on lately with the bad weather.

AKA have a track developement fund available , you maybe able to ask for a loan with very loose repayment schedule due to the bad circumstances you maybe able to get something as the fianl decison is by the clubs and I doubt a club would knock back such a request given the circumstances. get your committee to at least ask, you may get a favourable reply.

It maybe worth start some sort of relief fund as many clubs do suffer damage from storms, maybe look into the insurance of the AKA itself, but AKA don't technically own any tracks it maybe unviable, BUT we wont know until we try.

I hope you get back on your feet soon.
How did you fair over this weekend? Here in mildura we received about half of our anual rainfall in a 24 hour period, add that to what we got in January over 4 days and we have had our anual rainfall this year already. We have smashed both january and febuary's rainfall records this year.
We are lucky that our track is in a high location, Lots of others are not so lucky.
we had virtually no rain here this time. I saw on news how bad it was in Mildura and melbourne.

That is realy good to hear. Another flood would have been devastating for the wimmera.
