Vettel was 8 tenths faster than Hamilton and Webber in qualifying and that was without him using any Kers !!!
Tyre strategy, Kers and adjustable wings will make this afternoon interesting.
Which way did Vettel go ???
I expect that before too many laps Vettel will come up behind Massa and Schumacher !!! Can he wave goodbye while swithching the Kers AND the adjustable wing ???
Was hearing this morning that Redbulls kers system is a start only system (no recharge capacity so can only be used once) but either way that lap of vettels yesterday was massive!! I dont know how he did that. Hopefully he will fall off the track and Webber will come through for the win!
I THINK THAT KERS IS BS!
I think that someone having to pass someone because of outbraking them and getting better exit speed is better from a spectators point of view and requires more skill from the drivers. I think that it is stupid that because a driver is within 1 sec from the car in front he can press the big red button and just wave goodbuy to the other driver, WHAT KIND OF RACING IS THAT???. Plus the slowly phasing strategy with pit stops, whats the series coming to?
I think thats very cool.
Well, if that's true it makes a bit of a mockery of the acronym.
K.E.R.S. = Kinetic Energy Recovery System, or to put that another way "store the energy collected from braking in a battery, and use it to speed the car back up again". If it doesn't recharge at any time, then it's not recovering kinetic energy!
