I have spent many hours researching and talking to people in order to put this comprehensive list together and that was everything that I could come up with.
How did you list 20 KA positives?I can see you have put a lot of time & effort into this list. Well done!!!
The true difficulty was not in the number of positives, but the shear amount of detail that was the key telling point despite the amount of painstaking effort that has gone into what has truly been demonstrated over the last few year as the most comprehensive and accurate list available in Australia, if not the world. :-)
I did think that this list was very important to help balance out the list of negatives (of which all are totally unfounded of course). The thousands of posts listed on this site from the hundreds of participants over the years is truly a biased and unrealistic representation of karters views and of course not at all the reality we know to exist in karting in general. These views are clearly voiced from people that have no idea about business or karting and therefore are totally irrelevant.
So this comprehensive list of positives was well overdue in my humble opinion. :-P

Yes Dave and your comprehensive list is very accurate to say the least.
It appears they have made it a numbers game, which your list suggest. Sadly though, the list is upside down, back to front and published in an ascending order, instead of a descending order.
As you are well aware numbers are declining, not increasing. LOL

My review of the "All of numbers review" was based on the "mega analysis of re-disorganisation Theories" paper. I would have posted that published paper here but it is even more in depth than my comprehensive list. It does set the background for the "All of number review" very very well.
just Google "mega analysis of re-disorganisation Theories" and it will all become clear. Neville Scullion said:

Here is the Summery.
SUMMARY
Background We are sick and tired of being redisorganized.
Objective To systematically review the empirical evidence for organizational theories and repeated reorganizations.
Methods We did not find anything worth reading, other than Dilbert, so we fantasized. Unfortunately, our fantasies may well resemble many people’s realities. We are sorry about this, but it is not our fault.
Results We discovered many reasons for repeated reorganizations, the most common being ‘no good reason’. We estimated that trillions of dollars are being spent on strategic and organizational planning activities each year, thus providing lots of good reasons for hundreds of thousands of people, including us, to get into the business. New leaders who are intoxicated with the prospect of change further fuel perpetual cycles of redisorganization. We identified eight indicators of successful redisorganizations, including large consultancy fees paid to friends and relatives.
Conclusions We propose the establishment of ethics committees to review all future redisorganization proposals in order to put a stop to uncontrolled, unplanned experimentation inflicted on providers and users of the health services Karting in Australia.
Emmmmm........ this section was interesting.
Why reorganize?
We identified several over-lapping reasons for reorganizations, including money, revenge, money, elections, money, newly appointed leaders, money, unemployment, money, power-hunger, money, simple greed, money, boredom, and no apparent reason at all.
So, this was a tester. Just to confirm the question posed by other post. Has Karting become barren? well the fact that almost no one has played with this post really does go to show KA have won. They have silenced the masses. Controlled the rabble. As if karters were not apathetic enough, they have managed to make even the dissenters run and hide for fear of being banned for voicing an opinion.
Well all I can say is you lot are well and truly screwed.
I certainly have NO regrets leaving and on that note. I will have more karting spares up for sale to finish off my clean out.
If killing karting at grassroots level is winning then I agree with you. It is not the aim of Karting Australia (KA) to make massive profits at the expense of karters but to put this back into karting, and not solely at the prestige level. Cancellation of meetings at club level proves, yet again the SPORT of karting is dead. Blind Freddy can see that but not the crowd at KA apparently.
They kicked Toowoomba out.
Get along to the track on Sunday 19th and see how that has worked out.
Biggest meeting by far since the 412 entries at the 2007 Queensland Open State Championships.
My local club use to field 25-35 entries at a club day prior to KA, even with all the AKA rubbish.
They have conducted 5 event so far. 4 club days that have averaged 10 (yes that is TEN) participants across all classes and an open event that produced 94 entries (not entrants) across 10 classes, as the clubs main event of the year.
All I can say is I am enjoying seeing my 3 kids in BMX having a blast and doing well. All 3 of there bikes were purchased with the sale of my Karting spares.
