perhaps they should have thought about it a bit harder cos some people have to work weekends and if they have already asked to have this weekend off now they loose $$ , might be a good idea to have to nominate for Geelong club days to see if its worth running cos the fields are pretty Loooooooow

we cant controll the weather and we were not the only club that didnt run clubday. saftey comes first look what happened a few months ago and i wasnt there i was at phillip island
you got that right the fields are poor at geelong but only because the club is BANNING the wrong people.
the club has gone down hill big time in the last 3 years!!!
It was pretty poor how the club couldnt have called or done something to tell the members that there wasnt going to be a club day on that weekend because they had people coming down from melbourne wanting to race if they had of had a bit of nitice earlyer in the morning they could have stopped at todd road and raced or the people who wanted to race from down geelong and seen if they could have raced up there i was fairly pissed off and was told that they not racing the clubday!! it was only a bit of wind i have raced meeting in hail and thunder and lighting and they didnt stop the meeting. and if the other karters didnt want to get there kart out of the trailer why were they there?? and from what i have seen with the numbers of karters at the clubdays i would have to say that that would have been the biggest clubday for the year. it was only a clubday pretty dam poor if you ask me!! and i would have to say most of the other drivers would have been aswell
didnt Geelong just spend big bucks on lights there so as not to need any one on flag points? so that would mean all they needed was a starter and some 1 at cut thru GEEEESSSS thats a big ask
ANY WAY they have plenty of cash down there cos they ripped every 1 $20 per kart to practice leading up to there VIC open or you had to join the club ,way to keep the sport cheap ,but no matter the word is there the best club around but funny go past there club day 60to70 entries if your lucky TODD RD 100 TO 150 entries
good job the CATS are a good team the rest of the town might catch up soon
even though it was a shit day i think we could have done something ,i mean we were allowed to use the track for practice? we have a covered out grid lights on the corners all we needed was some officials and the meeting would have been on,
the ones who didnt want to race stayed home and the ones that were willing were there i think it should have been a vote between the drivers to decide if they wanted to go out
tha tis so right ray there shouldnt have even been a vote they are just lazy and didnt want to get cold!!
It's just another example of 'certain current commitee members' thinking they are above the VKA and everyone else, and making a call that should be left to the drivers.
Just shows that Geelong has become amature club, when it once had the name of one the greatest clubs in Australia.
thats a nice new kart Cameron
haha, goes alright too. too bad haven't been able to race it!!!
