Anyone else seen the bit in the latest Auto Action (p36) saying the AKA is fighting "Cyber Bullying" and thats why they issued the pink slip in the mail?
Weather this is tru or no, what relivance does it have, Seriously. I realy dont unerstand comments like this. what positive outcome is ever hoped from this type of comment?

I agree. You know that sort of thing isn't welcome Mal.
And while very frustrating at times, stooping to the same level should be avoided if at all possable.
What you then need is proof and FORCE the association to follow their own rules, not just when it suits them. Without having read the pollicy, I would expect it to be worded so that it refers to the protection of everyone from another competitor, and not protecting eveyone from everyone else. When I have time I will have to have a read, even thou I know it will frustrate me with just more and more rules, regulations and legislations added to what I fell is already an over govened sport.
That artical would have to be writen by an AKA publicity person, trying to make these things sound nobal, which would be fine but where is the CONSISTANCY.Mal Crosher said:
Pete,
the son was on here making threats to bash my head in 2 weeks ago. The Hypocracy is almost laughable.
problem with this approach is how do they enforce penalties on someone with no connection to the sport ie: that has left but can still join the forum and comment. i can't see them getting away with fining driver A because his uncle with no licence or membership to a club gets on here and gives it to the AKA.
Jason,
They can still use the same route open to all, common law, trouble is they can be the judge jury and executioner in their policy which means they have a much lower threshold to whats acceptable hence can "pink slip" anyone who speak out against the AKA from within their own ranks. ie we saw a driver use the term "braindead" to describe someone and get 6 months [ reduced to 1 if no more offences] from within the AKA policy, yet the national papers can call our prime minister a liar and they get zero??? go figure?? there is a difference trying to get someone who is NOT a AKA licence holder, and thats the problem, the AKA are basically making their own laws that now can reach out beyond the race track.
And given their poor consistancy in applying their own rules to themselves and their members there is a concern that the policy will be used to curtail freedom of speach. or they are becoming a little "precious" ad thin skinned.
For gods sake Paul, Gillard is a liar, among the worst in Australia. Don't you remember "there will be no carbon tax under a government I lead"?
Get a grip man, she lied again yesterday and misled parliament when she denied she offered Bob Carr the post of Foreign Minister, the story was subsequently proved to be substantially true. Read the front page of today's Australian.
Stop using her as an analogy, it is rediculous.
Steady on Bill,
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU I CANNOT STAND THE WOMAN!!! I was using her situation as an egsample that the media can call the person who occupies the highest position in our country a liar and nothng is done, yet a karter can call someone Braindead and get 6 months holiday. thats all
I agree with your comments 100%
Except anyone calling Gillard a liar would be sharing 100% fact. However on this issue.... How can you tell when a politition is lying??
THEIR LIPS ARE MOVING, just some dont do it quite so blatent as others. Paul Hewitt said:

Ok Paul, I see where you are coming from, I had a good laugh at Simon Furzers joke when I read this a while ago.
The Pope and Julia Gillard are on the same stage at the MCG in front of a huge crowd. The Pope leans towards Ms Gillard and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!" Gillard replied, "I seriously doubt that. With one little wave of your hand? Show me!" So the Pope backhanded the bitch.
lololololololololol hhhahahahahahahahah darn good joke that one!!!!!!!
S*#T, i just recieved express post from canberra a pink slip. ;-P
