We used to run "Road" race meetings here in NZ one upon a time too. Hard on gear and even harder on the body! The offer was there from MNZ to run at Wanganui & Paeroa with the NZ Road Champs (bikes) but the inherent dangers of manhole covers, cats eyes and a railway crossing at one location was enough to put the stoppers on. We could have run as a "demonstration" but they become more competiive than a points round, as I'm sure you would agree, as they tend to be well publicised and spectator numbers are great so the lads put on a show!
Thats one awesome video, you can see the whole kart flex just about especially when they are under brakes coming into that tight right hander and also over the queens drive bump. Can't be good chassis and that. It would be fun though!!!
