SuperkartclubWA was formed to foster the sport of super kart racing in Western Australia.
Super karting in WA has been around since the late 1960’s. The WA Super Kart Club that existed then raced here up until 2001. WA drivers did continue to race, not here in WA, but regularly travelled over east to state and national championship events.
In July 2007, a group of fellow karters started test and tune days at the Motoring South West complex in Collie. This track setup worked well for the super karts and sprint karts. Over 150 drivers have come to the test and tune days. In 2011, SuperkartclubWA become affiliated with Australian Karting Association (AKA) and hosted its first race meeting. The race meeting was for AKA drivers ranging from 7yo to seniors, 80cc to 200cc karts. All the drivers had a fantastic day and could not wait for next year. The super karts demonstrated in test and tune mode, the capability of the next level of karting. This race meeting was hosted again in 2012 with a considerable jump in entrant levels. 2012 also brought superkarts back to Barbagallo Raceway.
The club has been running test and tune sessions in conjunction with Western Australian Sporting Car Club. these events continued through 2013/2014.
Increasing interest in superkarts racing at Barbagallo, together with considerable dedication and hard work by the committee, has allowed us to proudly host a race meeting at Barbagallo on Monday 6th April 2015, PERTH ROAD RACE CUP.

Re: SuperKart Club WA
How is everything going in WA ?
How many karts you guys getting on the grid now ?
Re: SuperKart Club WA
About a dozen regulars at test sessions and we are aware of a few more due to make an appearance soon.
Our first official race meeting will be in June at the Collie Motoplex. Hopefully that will draw some numbers to give WA a bit of a leg up to regular rounds. :)
Re: SuperKart Club WA
WA has some good numbers of road racers so you may get more entries from people trying different categories.
Formula 1000 seems to be kicking off there and I think the same type of enthusiasts would love 250 SuperKarting.
All the best !
