5/8" bore wheels with no bearings

G'day everyone,

I'm making a go kart project at home and I haven't done one before. I'm after a set of two wheels (for the rear) that will slide onto the rear axle, but because I'm using the rear axle to power the wheels I can't have any bearings in the wheels.

Does anyone know where I can buy some wheels (basically small wheelbarrow wheels) without bearings in them (Bunnings etc)? I'm not looking to spend too much (under $75 would be good).

Thanks :)

Starting out

Hi - I want to start in Go Karting this year, at the club at Todd Road. I think I will go TAG 125 restricted, and buy a new Arrow Kart. I hear these are most common, but I am struggling to get information on almost everything to do with karting. I have made a budget for both purchase of gear, plus ongoing maintenance/running costs. Quite a few things I am googling, or have completely made up. From a cost perspective, and any other advice, how is this looking? I want to compete at a club level for now.

IKD actively supporting Golden Power Series

As noted on IKD's Rotax Pro Tour page, a Rotax class will be run in the Golden Power Series for 2020.  Same topic is also posted on Facts Karting in Australia website.

The  IKD post does not make it clear why this change is being made, but there could be many reason to see the merging of what were traditionally separating KA and IKD events.  Some clubs have previously run IKD classes as a low key event in the past, but this seems to be taking this up a notch or two.
