Hi Guys
Please find below detail regarding the development and realease of our engines and parts for the 250 EVO class.
As you may be aware Viper Racing UK are developing an engine for the 250EVO class using tried and tested Honda parts within a new framework.
It will first appear on track in 68 x 68.8mm format with our special 68mm crankshaft and modified 68.8mm bore Honda cylinder at Donington Park on June 2nd or perhaps at the June 7th Silverstone test (instead/as well).
It will appear again in July or sooner (at the GP perhaps?), with the Viper 68mm cylinder/head and 68.8mm crank on the Honda crankcase assembly. At that time it may also have balance shafted interim crankcase (but that may come to the track a month later), before moving on to the full and final motor in August.
Of course alongside the above, the development of our Honda replacement 66.40mm Viper cylinder will also take place.
At each stage the cost of either buying a complete motor (built on a new or used base) to that specification, or the parts to convert your own motor will be released along with dyno graphs.
In this way, potential competitors can asses performance gains against investment. We will be 100% transparent on all initial/future costs.
Viper Racing UK are proud of all our racing products in terms of quality, value for money and availability. We will allow all potential customers access to our products and parts, to do with as they wish, show to whoever they like, modify if they want to and guarantee economical spares availability with zero or minimal lead time. We will never decline an order for engine or spares from any person or organisation. We do not impose a restriction on who you can get to repair and service your Viper engine and will work with and provide information as requested to ensure the continuence of the best possible performance at the most economical costs from your Viper Racing UK products.
Best Regards
Ian :)
