Who's driving up and when? The Happy Harpers are doing a road trip to the Nationals (just like last year and the year before) and are wondering who they know from Victoria will be heading up.
Who's going to need last minute spares brought up? Who's going to forget that all important good luck charm, racesuit or (god forbid) license?
What's the goss? Who's staying where?
Most important of all - what else is there to see in Townsville besides the nationals?

hi sharon. im from townsville. here is just a few things about townsville hope it helps
Along with a superb karting facility, popular attractions for families and support crews planning to attend the championships include 'The Strand', a long tropical beach and garden strip; Riverway, a riverfront parkland attraction located on the banks of Ross River; Reef HQ, a large tropical aquarium holding many of the Great Barrier Reef's native flora and fauna; the Museum of Tropical Queensland, built around a display of relics from the sunken British warship HMS Pandora; and Magnetic Island, a large neighbouring island, the vast majority of which is national park.
“We are holding a Club Event today with the final shakedown meeting prior to the Nationals to be contested on March 21/22, which is one day after nominations close for the Nationals. At this meeting we expect to see a number of competitors from all across Queensland and various parts of the country participating,”

Thanks Luke :)
As I said, we have been combining the Nationals with the annual family holiday (ala the Griswalds) and the kids nagged us into going up to Townsville (wasn't too hard). Funny thing is, half the extended family decided they wanted to come too.
Last I heard there's a lot of Victorians headed up.
Look forward to seeing you guys up there.
