Thanks Craig, this is correct. Early entries CLOSE March 3rd at $380.00, cheaper if your also an ARDC member. Any entry arriving after the 3rd March incur a $50.00 late fee payable to the ARDC.
Sadly CAMS and Eastern Creek just can't seem to figure that out, but if you want the track practice it is the ONE AND ONLY time before round 1 of this years GB Nationals.
380 plus the club membershit push's it to 415 for interstaters.
No wonder Wakefield gets the numbers.
Jason, You know the drill. You don't need to be a Interstate Member to race at the NSW State Title meetings.
If you do become an Interstate NSW member you get NSW club scored, you race for NSW club trophy presentations and ARDC webmaster trophy.
If your not a Interstate NSW member you still can race for the ARDC webmaster Trophy....one for each class!
The choice is yours as it is mine!
You can't compare costs when refering to a track like Eastern Creek in a CAMS STATE TITLE meeting vs Wakefield Park AASA club round. As Cookie said, if your serious about 2011 National Title, this is the one to get in. The less people turn up to take advantage before the National Titles, the more advantage it should be for those that do. ;)
Sammy why just go for an ARDC Trophy when you have already paid the CAMS state title fee in the entry? You changed your tune from a couple of years ago mate.
Let's just get this cleared up so there is no confusion by anyone reading this. My tune was, always has and still is that if you hold a CAMS National License, you are eligable to enter and compete at any CAMS STATE or NATIONAL TITLE EVENT regardless of which 'CAMS Racing Club' you may be affiliated with to obtain your license. This was my tune and proven to be correct by NCR15.
For CAMS 'Closed Club' Permitted events and "club" pointscores/awards for any event, you would require membership to that club to be eligable. This is not what I was pursuing last year or the year before.
Garages were all taken more than 6 weeks before the event. So within our little group we have 5 carports booked and full. We kept you in mind when we booked the carports Ant.
1 - Sam Zavaglia Warren McIlveen
2 - Dalton Rowell Mystery Driver
3 - Paul Degan Stewie Matthews
4 - Jeff Reed Mark Rogers
5 - Alex Soravia Anthony Basile
See Ant, I look after ya. ;)
The GOSS is that the current 3 times in a row National Doorslammer Champion John Zappia and his Top Door racing team are coming down to check out our setup and watch some of our racing. They are also racing on the WSID drag strip next door on the Friday and Saturday night. http://www.zapsrat.com.au/
Going to be a busy weekend, 3 days of circuit racing and drags by night.
Friday Practice is on. You will get 4-5 x 15-20min sessions (pending how many conrods fall out of the HQ engine blocks). Practice fee is $135.00, $95.00 if your an ARDC member, turn up on the day if you feel like it.
Saturday is normally 2x Quals and 1x race Sunday is normally 3x races.
Just a heads up, a lot of the important parts of the track has been resurfaced last time I practiced on 15th January. March racing should be intresting.
Everybody normally stays at home, but 'Puff Daddy Degan' has been known in the past to get a room at the Chifley so he can have a big night with a few of his close Bros before the race. :D
My 3 suggestions below, Travelodge has a Sports/Workers club next door with all you can eat buffet and 3 different flavors of 'real' icecream.

Hotel Pil P-Diddy Degan is available...no charge. Friday night Cougarville drinks are on. 1 hour drive from E.C. Hey Ant.....Conformation is required due to cougar hunting on friday night(Stewy is a pathetic hunter due to lack of practice and height so you can have the double bed if you take on the hunt, some basic rules will apply whilst hunting). Pil
Are you suggesting i need the practice.....? No I'm not at EC on Friday as i have to run the country but Stewy is 100% so i am yet to work out how he will get there....we will sort it.

As I said before the rooty hill Rsl is just down the road just no cougar hunting more pig or dog hunting even pig dog hunting :D :D :D The facilities are good though it is a 6 storey hotel and just been renovated
Dont worry mate you will enjoy it and the meals are quite good and cheap. Also the grog is cheap there as well, they make plenty out of the pokies so don't need to rob you at the bar
You'll love the Rooty Hill RSL maaate, the locals call it the parachute club cos everyone gets a jump! Watch out for those truck driving sheilas - they can get quite physical!!!

I can confirm that the night life at the Hill is pretty intertaining. It's good value too and you don't have to worry about having a few drinks and driving coz you can crawl back to your room. I would never stay anywhere but there. A few years ago Nat 6 got him self in a load of trouble there!!!! I still tease him about it.
I would like to acknowledge the vee driver who passed away on saturday. Our thoughts are with your family and also thanks to the drivers who took the track in the last race in black ARM bands a showing of true sportsmanship
Miss Pitstop, I was going through your Stock Honda video at Eastern Creek last Friday when a found a bit where Peter Perfect mucking about with you as your trying just to let the engine and tyres warm. He is so mean to you.....he should be wearing the 00 numbers instead. :D
I like the way he waved to you, that was nice. I also like the agressive way you passed him and then like a true lady allowed him to pass again. Your a credit to our sport Trace and we should all look up to your driving finess. ;)
Paul, You are a legend..... "dis u juz see that" spoken in true Gen Y tone. There is some bloke out there with his 1/2 his bum crack showing and his cap on backwards wishing he was you Paul ;)
Got one question though....... I serviced Alex's engine and did his wheel alingment. I serviced your engine and did your wheel alingment. Both of you have same condition wets.
