Mate, this bloke is good, "I'll help you mod the trailer" he says.
I haven't seen him in 2 days, he dropped the trailer off and ran like a rabbit.
Stewy, I can see you being the "Works Driver" for Team Labour Options.......you will be doing all the work!! :D
Trailer is now designed so his Stockman 250 fits on the bottom and his Arrow X1 Stock Honda will go on top.
Maybe a few tyre racks here and there and what have you.
Hey Cooksteer, 1.5mm steel with the arc welder, haven't blown a single hole in the whole job yet. These welds gotta look better than those on your kart stands.

Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
Do you want a lend of a tape measure Sammy?
Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
Trouble is the more spirit the less level
Boom Boom.....Cha...........

Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
I'm more the spirit level guy than a tape measure guy.

Ah, so that's what Sammy used is it? Spirit level.
Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
Whatever it looks like is in the welds, it still looks better than Cookie's welds. ;D
The spirit level used came from a $2.00 shop. Sorry PIL.

but are you going to brace it as there will be a fair bit of force on those shelves bouncing down the hwy
Next is to try and incorporate the bracing that doubles as tyre racks or something useful. ;)
Need to get PIL's twin with sidepods fitted to see exactly how much clearence I have.
Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
F%$K the trailer WHEN are we going Skiing!? ;D
Between Boxing Day and the new year at the World's Best Kept Secret.
Might have a piss in the Murray and send it down to the folks in Adelaide to drink. ;D

Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
Can blame Miss Tracey for taking this photo.

Put in the supports for the kart up top

Some shelving for all his crap

Stock Honda up top which will also take another twin in backwards. Way too much measuring for 1 day!

Both karts in with top lid open

Both karts in with top lid closed. It's about as small and low a trailer can practically be for 2x 250 webmasters.
Awesome, I think it really turned out OK.

Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
If I remember correctly that trailer has a tool box mounted on the draw bar,(full of shit), may have to clean that up & put it to use Pil. AND I gotta' agree with Feno that top pic of the boys at work is belly laughin' material, ya gotta feel for Trace havin' to listen to those two......
Lastly, should be in the "Goss" section perhaps, but is there any truth in the rumour that Mr Vickers has purchased a stock Honda?? :-\ By my count that is 5 or 6 already here for next season! ;D Unreal!
Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
I'm assumin' that the pole on the back 'aint for prawn nets! ;D so yeah I would have no problem trying to hang on but 160.....?You should get PIL behind that thing cause that boy CAN waterski! 8)
The word is COULD ski but like skateboarding, sadly that was the past.......I am tossing up going to this so called secret spot with the boys over chrissy if they will have me so we will see.
Trailer is sensational, ears not so good. Big thanks to the wog, he did a great job and only yelled at me all day.
Best of all, he basically charged me only materials so i got out of that lightly. Thanks Sam.
Funny thing, the other night at the presentation, Tracey reminded me that when i met them all for first time (before buying a kart) I said to them...,I want to race but i don't want to do any of my own work, engine or otherwise. They all laughed and Jason Laker said "that aint gunna work out" .......so far it's worked just fine.....
Stewy.......you owe me big time....

Here is the "old boat" in testing last year.

The new boat is expected to go harder. Want to go fishing PIL?

Funny stuff Paul, I wish I thought of the ear plugs. Nice work Sammy, and well done on your year Paul, looks like you have had heaps of fun.
Jase.

Here are 4 good solutions for the ball breakers.
1) Just SHUT UP and LISTEN to ME.
or
2) Drop your shit off and piss off home till it's done.
or
3) Learn to do it yourself.
or
4) Go break someone else's balls in your spare time.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
SH#T Cookster! after viewing video reminds of the fact that the older I get the better I was! Can I have a go...just with the choke out only thankyou! :o
Hey Stewy. I've got the trailer and boat down to speed just for you. No wheels on the trailer and no prop or motor for the boat. Both the intercoolers are still in the bottom (I think mariners call it the bilge though).
Better hurry up because by tommorow night it is all go at top pace. Don't worry about the LP Gas things either. This thing carries 200 litres of good old webmaster fuel. AVGAS.
I think Sammy may have had something to do with the plumbinmg though. All anodized fitting and braided hoses everywhere.

Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
Twin turbo 600 cubic inch big block with 2 intercoolers (round canisters on each side. Muralled floor and all the braided hose you can handle.

Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
That's seriously fast, especially on water !
Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
Spend the bucks get the speed.
Re: PIL's Kart Trailer
The next thing i will bring to light is, try and find skiers that will hang on at anything above 125mph. for a start its just about impossible to do and if you can do it then jump behind one of the superclass boats and try doing it for 34-35 minutes all while copping golF balls to the head off the stern drive. All the good skiers these days are either dead or just a bout dead or have had a bad fall doing the numbers.
Dont get me wrong im a huge fan of going fast on water ( in my circuit boat ) but honestly ITS ALL ABOUT THE OWNER WITH THE BIGGEST CANOE ( OR PENIS).
If you want to see what i mean check out the flirtilla of boats Greg Houston ( owner of stinga and greg houston plumbing has ) Jump on www.stinga.com.au and go to the mutlimedia link and check out the phoo at the bottom of the photo page those three boats would be touching 1 million just to set up.
