Hes probably just paid his licence and membership.
He came second !
My grandkids (under 10) saw the manual and the picture and asked the same question and I just replied to them because that is how the majority of karters feel about the new rules in the book
(but then maybe he was one of the 7 kids that got the $1000 fine for going over the baulk line - if there are 3 sides to every story then KA should come out and say so.)
yeah he is not happy is he?
Just looks focused and serious to me . . . maybe his hero is Kimi?  Any excuse for a KA bash nowadays hahahahahaa
Maybe the only kid in Oz who's dad bought him a KA race suit. So good  photo for KA propaganda- sorry Marketing. He really wanted a suit with his kart brand thats why he cracked the shits. But clever dad knew he'd never get any penalties if he he wore a KA suit.
FURZ!!! You coming to Coffs this year mate?
Why is this in the politics section . When I saw it I thought he looked grumpy as well.
Geez, every time I raced, I had to cross the baulk line - no other way to the start line. Is that a penalty now?
Terry
Why do they bother printing a hard copy of the rules, seems as though they change too often to make it worth having on paper?  Kid was probably upset because he thought he knew the rules,  but was then told to go online to find the updates.

He's not 'grumpy'. It's the new KA approved 'death stare' that reflects the endorsed 'take no prisoners' nature of his immediate intentions and the laser like ruthlessness of his longer term ambitions in motor racing.
This facial expression and associated mental attitude isn't as yet mandatory for Cadets and Juniors, but is "highly recommended". It is envisaged that it may become compulsory at some future date, as KA understand it to be essential to progression within the sport. This is a European style initiative derived from the success of Hitler Youth training...
Regards,
John.
Hahahaha, That is awesome, the only issue I have with this comment is, unfortunately it is not so unrealistic in reflecting the current direction of karting. :-( john learmonth said:
