News today on F1.com confirmed BMW Sauber to quit at the end of 2009... No mention of any buyers but safe to assume some billionaire will be tempted to kiss a few 10's of millions away on a botched attempt of running an F1 outfit. Sad news though with another manufacturer pulling the pin.
Kubica to Renault to replace Piquet & Heidfeld to US GP ???? thats my guess

i think us gp have got drivers set. maybe campos for either driver. renault might bring in their test driver grosjean to replace piquet(too much $$$).
i hope they dont plan on pulling the pin of fbmw too, im getting into it..
Pete Windsor words on Sunday F1 show confirmed that their driver line up was not confirmed.. they were discussing Danica signing to Nascar next year which ruled her out.. and Windsor seemed pretty confident that they'll go for an experience driver

piquet will already be well and truley replaced by the time we get to next year!!!
Grosjean will be in his seat come valencia... well i hope so at least!
I hope alonso stays at renault with grosjean next year... I hate it how people have the perception your not a good driver until youv won with ferrari...
Ferrari's are overrated.... GO RENAULT!
Schumacer is replacing Massa. Confirmed
Yeah no shock here... but subject to a fitness test to see if he is up to it... derr.. who is going to tell Mr F1 sorry you are not fit enough to race this car... please ! What happens if the Schumi bloody wins a few GP's..... ? Can imagine a few new teams throwing around $100m for him to race their cars for 2010 !!!! Out of all the bad news latetly with Honda & BMW pulling the pin, Max Moselys sexual habits, KERS & the salary cap debate. Let's hope Schumi sets the track on fire and brings back some life into the cicus.......But Webber stills win at least one more race to take the championship !! now that would be a memorable year in F1 for me

So true, when will ferrari ever tell schumi that he cant race their car. most ex-f1 drivers still do alot of fitness training. i bet jackie stewart is still fit enough to race!
but i really do hope that schumi brings some new life back into f1 after the years controversies(noted by steve).
i reckon he should wear his "STIG" clothing and helmet in the race!

didn't webber say something along the lines of he was 200% sure shumacer woudnt stand in, haha
As much as I can't imagine it.... but there is a remote possibility the Schumi may fail at this attempt especially after Valencia and the Gp's start rolling to 7 & 14 day breaks... as a fellow 40yr old it's goin to be a monumental effort to complete a GP let alone the next 6-7 !!!! but it's the greatest race driver ever and unlikely to be ever matched so let's just see if he retired way to early... mathematically if Button fails to score any more than 10pts ... and Schumi wins the next 7 races he can actually win the damn championship.... wonder what the odds would be ????
There's alot of life left when you reach 40 believe it or not it's not uncommon for a 40yr old + to come out of retirement and
win a few races.
