Australian Superkart Grand Prix

‘Will you be ready?’ The Biggest ALL Classes Superkart Event for 2010

The Adelaide Superkart Club is currently draw-
ing up preliminary plans to, once again, present
Australia’s Premier Superkarting Event,

The 46th running of the event will be held on Sunday,
7th November, at Mallala Motorsport Park and is the
largest „All Classes. Gearbox and Non Gearbox, Su-
perkarting event on the 2010 race calendar.

The ASC Grand Prix Committee is hoping to surpass
the excitement and success of the 2009 event which
was described by veteran drivers as “one of the best
Superkarting events that they had ever attended”.

The Committee envisages that the event will be backed
by radio advertising via a top rated station and local
newspaper adverts. Prizemoney, prizes, trophies and
commemorative medallions will be made available for
both Gearbox and Non Gearbox Classes*.

The club has already received extremely enthusiastic
support from local sponsors including. Modbury Press,
Northern Stationery Centre, Westech IT Solutions, Lofty
Coaches, Ian Williams Tuning, Gawler & Barossa Land-
scape Services and local drivers.

The ASC is endeavouring to make the 2010 Grand Prix
the most affordable event on the Australian Superkart
calendar and further sponsorship is being sourced to
assist with minimising the cost to competitors. The club
is hoping for „huge entry numbers. from interstate driv-
ers to assist in it.s quest to make the GP, the biggest
and best ever.

Personalised GP Invitations will be posted to all CAMS
Licenced Superkarters in Australia prior to the event,
but any indication of support from interstate drivers/
clubs would be most appreciated.

Send a smoke signal, an email or just get the word back
to us. Your positive response can only encourage the
Grand Prix Committee to try harder to make the event
one that you will never forget.

Im inquiring for a few NGB members who are attracted to the idea of coming down for the NGB nationals but are new to the sport and wanted to know

" if they happen to get on the podium in their respective classes will they wear the NATIONAL NGB CHAMPION TAG

Like i said im asking on their behalf cheers

I know the webmaster GP meeting is on Sunday 7th November, the Mallala website says there is practice for motorbikes on Saturday 6th November.

Does anyone know if Mallala 6th November practice has open sessions for karts as well as bikes?

Thanks Ian.
28 hour round trip is a fair bit long for a day's racing but my intentions are still to come down, pending the possible kitchen installation on that weekend. Put me down in your team with young Ant. I hope not to let the team down this year either. ;)
