Hi all, I overheard a couple TaG racers at my local club day wondering why no one wants to come out of TaG Restricted and into TaG. I race restricted myself and plan on staying in restricted from a cost perspective due to the tyre life between the classes, perhaps that is a similar reason to others why we don't come out of restricted. It has got me wondering though what is the typical tyre life of the MG Yellow at club level?

Two meets without practiceÂ
TaG Restricted engines produce about 18 hp ( similar to the Yamaha Clubman) whereas a TaG engine produces around 28 hp. Some just prefer to race one or the other.
